Again, well done. Copper and Erik are interesting characters. Really loved the story until the very last line then it shocked me. But that the type story this is- DARK and not for the weak hearted. I'll read the final book maybe in Spring when there's some sunlight, not in grim dark winter. Afraid (but curious) to see what evil plot the authors throw into the next one. Seriously though! The last line! I bet the authors laughed maniacally.Product details

I'm not into *any* of the types of scenarios in this series, but I love how attached these people are to each other. Also, I'm oddly happy Jack found someone in this book.
I CANNOT get over this book. This is the second part in the Stallion trilogy and it just got way better then the first one. It starts off where book one ends and we see how well Reuben starts adjusting to his new life. How him and Erik start growing closer and more attached to one another, they really do complete each other. I was a little nervous about Reuben being made to sleep with other people besides the master cause I didn't want it to start being ok for Erik to take other lovers but luckily it was all about Reuben (Copper) being bred and Erik enjoying the view. Omg that freakin breeding scene was beyond amazing! The description and everything. It will stay with me for a while for sure. Reuben also gains a lot more confidence and starts better understanding his role.
I recommend this book to anyone who loves pet play and kinky-ness. There wasn't as much violence in this one as there was in the first but at least a few where it was most definitely needed. The ending. Wtf man?! Book 3 can't get here fast enough. It's gna be way freakin good and interesting.

Well it's finally happened! The Merikan's have turned me into a binger....a book binger! Now I freely admit that I was an addict (I stand proud), but never a binger. I devour anything written by this duo and then want more, instantaneously - I have no willpower left, they're drained it! Now to the book. The title is absolutely perfect and I've got a nasty feeling that the "fall" that they says happens when combined with "pride" is.....well, let's say "the s*** is about to hit the fan" in book 3,,,,we shall see. Reuben's transformation into Copper is now complete (hoof's are now an accessory that no fashion conscious horse would be seen without). Don't get me wrong, he fought against it, but resistance was futile and he realises that Erik completes him, especially after Erik's birthday party, which he attended dressed as a resplendent unicorn! I don't do spoilers, but as I have hinted already, their world is crumbling. Will Erik take up the offer given? Will he sell Copper or keep him as his beloved horse? Is it possible that Copper can get pregnant and have the foal he's been dreaming of? (anything is possible in this book!) and finally, is young Jack the caring/innocent stable boy or is he involved with the Humanist's? So many questions - no answers and we are left with another (didn't see that one coming) cliffhanger! Can't wait for book 3!

Only one word for these two books wonderful. At first I wasn't sure, but watching the relationship grow was stunning and WONDERFUL.

I didn't think it was possible that I'd ever read such perfection, but it happened. A sequel that exceeded my expectations, and left me gagging for more! I swear, these two are KILLING IT. I almost don't want to read any other books about pet play unless these two write it, especially if they are writing m/m Pony Play. BLESS.
I have no found my new favorite in speculative fiction. Sexy, dark, perverted and passionate these two books in the Copper Horse series have left me wanting more.
